The Department of Health released a new progress report “The Path to Universal Healthcare – Sláintecare & Programme for Government 2025+ (Sláintecare 2025+)”.
SC2025+ focuses on providing high quality healthcare to patients, aiming to make healthcare in Ireland more affordable and accessible to everyone. The report highlights the “ongoing progress made in transforming the social care services to provide the Right Care, in the Right Place, at the Right Time”. It states that Ireland is making steady progress towards Universal healthcare by enhancing access to healthcare, reducing costs and restructuring services.
